Thai stocks opened down 0.16% at the start of trade this morning. The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index opened at 1,580.96 points, down 2.57 points from Friday's close. The trade value was 1.14 billion baht with 224 million shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 1,000.60 points, down 2.66 points or 0.27%, with a total trade value of 468 million baht. The MAI index went up 0.53 points or 0.09% to stand at 596.61 points with total transaction value of 61 million baht.
